How to measure pants & shorts (lay them flat)
- Lay a pair that fits you well flat on a table, front up, and smooth the waistband flat.
- Waist: measure straight across the top of the waistband from edge to edge, then double it (42 cm flat = 84 cm waist).
- Inseam: measure from the crotch seam (where the leg seams meet) straight down the inside leg to the bottom of the hem.
- Match both numbers in centimetres to the chart. Between sizes? Most people go up for work pants.
